We have been so excited this year to introduce our new baby keepsakes! Along with our bears, we now have our floppy eared bunny and our gorgeous cheeky elephant. Wonderful keepsakes created from treasured baby and childrens clothing and personalised embroidery.
We all have those special babygros and outfits from our children’s early years. They are carefully packed away in the attic gathering dust. A keepsake is the perfect way to bring our treasured items back to life.
We were recently invited onto BBC Kent to discuss how to transform our treasured memories and clothing into wonderful bespoke keepsakes for the future. We had a great day and received a fantastic response. Hubbub were also invited to discuss their great initiative #giftabundle. This is a campaign in conjunction with Mothercare UK . They want to encourage mums to pass a favourite piece of baby clothing to a new mum with a note of support.
One of my favourite outfits was my daughters first babygro made from lovely soft cotton which was white with little pink bunnies. I had packed it away with a bundle of other clothes. We were recently spring cleaning the attic and found her baby clothes. They still looked so sweet but it seemed such a shame that they had sat in a box for so many years! Together with a favourite jumper, some other babygros and a soft comfort blanket we made a very special keepsake bunny! It is embroidered on the back with her date of birth and name. A much loved keepsake for her to show her children in the future.
All of our keepsakes are skilfully handmade in our workshop in Kent. We have a wonderful team who lovingly design and create each animal or cushion, whether baby or adult keepsake. Great care is taken to include all the pieces you send us and your new arrival will be with you with in four weeks. The clothing we receive for these very special baby keepsakes can be so varied. The include favourite dresses, blankets, cardigans or even little socks and hats. We need several items to create a baby keepsake due to the size of the original clothing. However when the workshop has worked its magic we love to see the clothing become gorgeous baby keepsakes to treasure into the future.
Our seamstresses can add personalised embroidery. The most popular options are names, dates of birth and birth weight. We currently have a little group of bunnies we are making this week made from favourite dresses and a baby duvet. We can’t wait to see the finished baby keepsakes.

Friends since their first children were born, Pru and Kathy are two mums whose children are now at secondary school.
