We have made quite a selection of Australian Blazer Bears and it just happens that this time we can deliver them by hand. We are not always familiar with all the schools over there so it will be fun to visit a few and see where their homes will be. We have been promised regular updates and photos.
Another busy month with usual wonderful variety of bears. We always think the keepsake bears look so sweet with a scarf and we have made them from so many different types of clothing. This week we made scarves from trousers, socks, ties, fleeces, jumpers and even a favourite dressing gown!
We have also been grateful to our helpers who manage some of our fairs. We have our biggest number this year and sometimes three on one day, so the extra help is invaluable. The students taking gap years often know about us as they have a Blazer Bear of their own and come up with some great suggestions to create bears from all sorts of special clothing.
So a busy month ahead and a group order from Jersey to finish. We have also started sending out gift vouchers for Christmas presents to some very organised customers. Always a popular choice for Godchildren and Grandchildren. Apparently 81 days until Father Christmas arrives! :)
Friends since their first children were born, Pru and Kathy are two mums whose children are now at secondary school. As a special keepsake Pru made each of her children a teddy bear out of their old school Blazers. Kathy loved the concept so they joined forces and Blazer Bear. was born. Find out more
Whether it be a blazer, school uniform, rugby shirts, precious clothing babygros, the list is endless. Everything is lovingly handcrafted entirely from what you give us. If it is a group school order you are after, we can often source the fabrics and even incorporate a school emblem Find out
