Keepsake bear for Christmas

Keepsake Bear for Christmas

We are in our final week or completing orders for Christmas! It has been an incredibly busy few months attending fairs and meeting lots of wonderful new coustomers. Our handmade Blazer Bears have travelled to many counties in the South East from Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and London!

This year we started our Fair season by attending the Independent Schools Show for the first time at the Battersea Evolution Centre in Battersea Park. It was a great weekend and joined over 150 schools who attended the event. Both days were very busy with prospective parents visiting the event.

Our handmade keepsake bears then spent three lovely days at the Rare Brands Christmas Market at Goodwood Racecourse  and proved very popular. We have certainly got into the Christmas Spirit with all wonderful festive events and the ever popular Dulwich Christmas Fair at Dulwich School in London was no exception. We have since been busy making lots of keepsake bears for Christmas presents from a host of different prep schools in the South East area of London.

We were thrilled by the response from St Michaels Prep School in Kent! 25 orders on the day with many following after. It was a superb event and our Blazer Bears really enjoyed the new friend them made :)

We have also loved visiting new schools such as Rokeby Preparatory School in Kingston, Rupert House School in Henley and St Andrews School in Eastbourne. Along with invitations to return to many schools we have had such a wonderful welcome, delicious mince pies and managed to even get some super gifts for Christmas. And thanks to Kentish Stores lots of delicious Christmas goodies which we have tucked into already!!

All the keepsake teddy bears are currently being finished and sent to their new homes for Christmas!  Thanks again to Kentish Stores who came up with a name for a collective noun for a group of Blazer Bears ‘a bundle’. We feel this picture of some of bears waiting for packaging was a great example :) Wishing all our customers a very Happy Christmas and New Year!

How did it start?

tplFriends since their first children were born, Pru and Kathy are two mums whose children are now at secondary school. As a special keepsake Pru made each of her children a teddy bear out of their old school Blazers. Kathy loved the concept so they joined forces and Blazer Bear. was born.  Find out more

How does it work?

Whether it be a blazer, school uniform, rugby shirts, precious clothing babygros, the list is endless. Everything is lovingly handcrafted entirely from what you give us. If it is a group school order you are after, we can often source the fabrics and even incorporate a school emblem Find out
