We were so thrilled that Real Mum Reviews asked to review our Blazer Bears. Lucy loved the idea of our keepsake teddy bears but wanted to see for herself what it was all about.
As we always do we sent them a pre addressed envelope and check list and eagerly awaited the special clothing. The keepsake bear was to be made from precious much loved first baby clothes. Lucy’s daughter (the cutest little model) always looked so sweet in purple clothing and the items that arrived were the prettiest outfits. There was a mixture of floral, stripes and plain including a little bear logo.
The first thing we have to do is consider the best way to design this special keepsake bear. There were stripes, floral and plain outfits all in coordinating purples and creams. There was also a little bow in floral material. Purple was a colour that Lucy loved and always looked gorgeous on her equally gorgeous little girl.
We wanted Lucy’s keepsake bear to be the perfect momento and feel that her little precious items of clothing were still representing the original. We wanted to include the sweet little bear on the bear which we placed on the paw and included the three little buttons on the nape of the neck. the large bow was placed at the front of the bear as the finishing touch.
Once completed we sent Lucy her keepsake bear and waited anxiously for the review! We were thrilled when we read the published review. Lucy felt her handmade bear was ‘simply perfect’ and complimented us on our attention to detail and the quality of the finished keepsake bear. This is something we are passionate about and will always accomodate any changes or alterations as the customer wishes.The size of her keepsake bear was also unexpected, something we try to emphasise. They sit 40cm tall but the teddy bears often appear smaller in photographs.
Lucy felt the handmade teddy bears were the perfect and unique way to keep sentimental special clothing rather than tucked away in a drawer. She felt that ‘Blazer Bear as a company really care about the product they are creating for you, and treat your garments with the love that they deserve’ which was something we again feel very strongly about. We know how precious these items of clothing are and treat them with the greatest of care.
Lucy was ‘over the moon’ with her handmade keepsake bear and recommended one for anyone looking for a keepsake. It was a pleasure to make and hope it will be a treasured teddy bear for years to come.
