Leavers Keepsake Bears

Leaving school can be exciting and yet at the same time an anxious time for pupils and parents! Whether moving to a secondary school, leaving at 18 or changing school due to a move, it is a huge step. Some know they will miss school; some will miss it when they leave but the memories and friends for many will be precious. That is why the Blazer Bear leavers keepsake bears are treasured by so many.

We love making the large group orders for school leavers. We are already organising large orders for leavers in year 6 and 8 as well as sixth form leavers. We know they will encompass many special memories and be a wonderful memento of their time at school. For some bears their homes are with the Mums to treasure and a place to keep all the badges and milestones as their little ones grow.

Last year we created many large orders, the most popular being the leavers large keepsake bears. These can incorporate the larger blazer badges and can be bespoke. With ties, shirts and sport kit included depending on the importance to that child’s experiences. Some may be adorned with sporting success, academic achievement or musical talent. Others the achievements of effort, kindness and responsibility. All with their nametag stitched behind the ear so no one will forget whose memoires are depicted in which Blazer Bear!

We have also made many leavers keepsake bears from the school uniform which is excitedly covered in friends and teachers signatures! We remember the day when we were allowed to sign our shirts and dresses of all our friends, with pictures, nicknames and silly memories! However more often and not the dresses and shirts end up at the bottom of the cupboard and draw in a crumpled mess. We like to bring it back to life and love making these special keepsake bears and hearing how treasured they are.

We like to create each leavers keepsake bear as each customer wishes and suggest the blazer or material which the main body of the bear is to be made is best created by adding 3-4 other pieces of clothing as a maximum including the scarf. Each bear is handmade so if there are lots of items to be included and a huge amount of badges there will be a small extra charge. We really do understand that some have many items that will be special so we endeavor to design each keepsake bear with that in mind. We are always at the end of a phone and our aim is to deliver great customer service.

We also produce a smaller bear, which proved popular. They are not bespoke as each bear which requires a minimum order of 10 are made identically. However they are still created from the school uniform, incorporating several aspects such as ties, skirts or jumpers and of course the nametag. If there are small badges, which have the school emblem, they can be added to the front.

We have also now worked with several manufacturers to obtain the material at source. If this is possible it obviously allows for a Blazer Bear to be made before the end of term and in bulk. Other uniform such as ties for example can be added to each one, as can scarves and stitching the name tag behind the ear. They have made great and truly unique leavers gifts which will stand the test of time, never to be grown out of or left forgotten at the bottom of the drawer!
