It is the end of term, or nearly, and summer is here! But for some this also means moving to pastures new. Whether leaving to start secondary school, off to university or moving to a new area it can be a time of full of emotion. At first there is excitement as it is the holidays! Weeks ahead of no homework, being told to do your top button up or perhaps school dinners. For mums and dads no more homework nagging, the school run or frantically trying to organise sports kit on a Monday with no items lost…a challenge!
However it is also a time to look back and reflect. Friendships, fun and achievements and for parents the fact that their children are growing and developing and childhood is moving on. Having a personal keepsake is a wonderful way of remembering those special school days.
