Unique uniform keepsake bears

We have been working hard over the Easter period to finish some gorgeous and unique keepsake bears. We have lots of wonderful group orders to be completed in May so we have been getting all this months orders off to their new homes.

We were sent some wonderful uniform from a school in Westminster, London called Falkner House School. It was founded in 1954 for girls aged from 4 – 11 years old.

The main blazer is a made from very smart blue wool with the school crest on the pocket. In summer they have a wonderful straw boater and floral summer dress and in winter they wear super blue house capes with little red buttons, a jelly bag red hat all topped off with red stockings with their grey skirts.

We created some gorgeous keepsake bears in March, which we adored! We had winter and summer uniform, which needed to be incorporated.  The main body was made from the skirt and we added the floral summer uniform as cuffs and ears. The paws were made from a white polo so we incorporated the school crest here too.

We were then asked to create a mini cape for the bears from the larger cape. We wanted to try and replicate the original as much as possible. It was a challenge due to the dimensions of the keepsake bear and added the red detail of the collar and buttons. To finish the bear we stitched a school crest to the front, added little red buttons next to the red piping and finally the nametag behind the ear. We really did love these bears and hope they will be much loved keepsakes for many years to come.

We also made some more Aldro Prep School keepsake bears with all their amazing badges adorning the back of the bear. We also love their sports top which make a very smart scarf.St Andrews School also had two new visitors! The unusual stripe made two very handsome bears. The school jumper and scarf were used to create a scarf and finished off with very stylish gold buttons.

We are now also able to offer embroidery to add an extra finishing touch to your Blazer Bear. Special dates, names or messages can be added to create a truly bespoke keepsake bear.

A huge variety of Blazer Bears were made in March and April is proving exciting too!
