School Charity Auction

We have been so busy this month not only with 2016  leavers keepsakes but also we have been asked to make lots of bears for school charity auctions. We have been so delighted to hear they have a been a huge success and raised lots of money for various schools. Last month we made a bundle of large Putney High Blazer Bears for a charity auction for their school ball.

Each bear was made from various aspects of the wonderful purple uniform. Whether the gingham dresses, purple sweatshirt, sports skirt or jumpers. Each large bear had the event name and date stitched to the back of the ear to commemorate the occasion. We delivered the bundle of bears to Putney and were thrilled to be sent pictures of the very glamorous event!

It was obvious how much work had gone into organising such a wonderful evening and each bear was placed as a centre piece for the school charity auction. We know the event was a huge success and was so pleased to hear the bears helped raise lots of money for their school.

We were also asked to make 10 small bears for a London school which were also used to raise money as part of a charity auction. The money raised was truly amazing and more were needed. So the next week 10 more bears were sent to find new homes in London!

This week we are completing 55 small bears for leavers and have another 29 and 35 to follow. All our Blazer Bear staff are working really hard to make sure each bear is beautifully finished and completed in plenty of time.

The Fair season is well under way too and we are off to Richmond this weekend to The Old Vicarage School for their Summer Fair. Keeping crossed for them the weather stays dry but we are sure it will be a lovely event regardless.
