We have made quite a selection of Australian Blazer Bears and it just happens that this time we can deliver them by hand. We are not always familiar with all the schools over there so it will be fun to visit a few and see where their homes will be. We have been promised regular updates and photos.

Autumn at the Blazer Bear workshop has started with a swing. We are very excited as we have expanded and doubled our workshop space! This means all our display bears have a place to call home and we have a wonderful spacious environment for all of us while we are working. We were getting a little crowded with stock and machines and so now we have room to spread ourselves out and shelves to organise all our sewing equipment, dispatch materials, stuffing and exhibition equipment.
We have continued to have a very busy month with orders coming in daily which is fantastic! We have also had some wonderful letters and emails like the one below telling us how pleased people are with their new arrivals:

We have had two of our busiest weeks we have ever had in the workshop and all the Blazers have been so varied as always! This week we also had some very well travelled bears. Our keepsake bears were sent all around the globe to Hong Kong, New Zealand, Jersey, Australia and America.
We were also tweeted a great picture of one of the keepsake bears we made as a Reed’s School as mascot for their rugby tour. They are in Argentina and wish them lots of fun and success! They named their Blazer Bear ‘Chuff’ and will be another well travelled bear.

This week we sent a large order of small bears which are to be leavers gifts to Wimbledon High School. There were 56 bears in total and each bear was made from the school sweatshirt and pretty green gingham. With so many to make we were able to source the fabric to match the school uniform and even have their logo embroidered on to the front of each bear.
Each small blazer bear had a blue scarf made from the school jumper and a leavers 2016 label stitched behind the ear. We thought the bundle of green bears looked gorgeous and hope the pupils will love their unique leavers gifts.

Friends since their first children were born, Pru and Kathy are two mums whose children are now at secondary school.
