Not only have we been busy completing our large group orders for leavers we have also been sending lots of individual orders off to their new homes. We love the variety of keepsake bears we are asked to make and the last few weeks this has been no exception!
We have had several orders to make bears from clothing lovingly signed by friends on the last day of school! Comments and pictures from good friends with touching sentiment or funny drawings cover dresses, shirts and ties. As is often the case these penned special articles are much loved but tucked away in drawers for years to come. By using these garments and creating a keepsake bear, these memories can be kept alive!

Small keepsake bears made from school uniform filled our workshop last week! The little bears were as a result of a group order for leavers from a sixth form in Newcastle. One of us is a native Australian but we both have close family living in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne! As they are sweltering in their summer sunshine we can’t help get a little wistful for family BBQ’s, days on the beach and the general outdoor life. Currently we are looking at wind, rain and even hail outside the workshop window!
