One of the areas which is really proving popular our baby clothers keepsake bears which are so special and much loved . No exception was this gorgeous little Chloe dress which we received a few weeks ago. When we took the clothing out of the mailing bag the whole workshop went ‘Awww….’. All our children are now teenagers so we when we get these special first outfits we can’t help but feel a little broody!

Bear workshop has been a buzzing place of activity again.We have a special large post box for all our deliveries and our lovely friendly post lady knows us and our distinctive green mailing bags well now! We get really excited opening all the new arrivals and love seeing what special material has been sent to us!
This week was no exception with a selection of uniform and blazers from school we have not as yet made a Blazer Bear for. We also had some lovely material from a favourite outfit to make a keepsake bear for Valentines Day. What really made us go ‘awwww’ was this beautiful baby dress by Chloe with covered buttons and lace detail.

As 2014 starts, we have been looking through the photos of all the Blazer Bears we have made in 2013. Each picture tells a story and is kept, if not for the gallery, then for our own workshop photo album, as a record of the variety of clothing and design idea of each individual bear. We loved making so many different keepsake bears last year and what is so wonderful are the letters,messages and pictures we receive from our customers once they have received them. Some keepsake bears are surprises, some are keepsakes from school days or sporting teams and some simply as memories of special times.

Keepsake bears meet Theo Paphitas
Every Sunday evening Theo Paphitas choses 6 small businesses that he likes to win his Small Business Sunday #sbs on Twitter. He retweets, adds them to his twitter and then you become part of the #sbs winners club. Earlier this year this is exactly what happened to Blazer Bear with our keepsake bears! It was so exciting and helped us to connect to lots more customers and businesses.
Two weeks ago we made our way up to Birmingham for the winners event 2013 and took some keepsake bears with us! Friends since their first children were born, Pru and Kathy are two mums whose children are now at secondary school.
