Christmas Keepsake Bear
We love going to fairs anytime of year but the Christmas ones are especially fun. We love getting into the festive spirit and doing our shopping done too! We also love meeting customers new and old and taking orders for Blazer Bears for Christmas!
We have been to quite a handful of fairs already this year and we have been approached by lots of people who have had a bear made or wish to have more made. It is so lovely to put a face to a name and hear how pleased they are with their Blazer Bear! We keep all our letters and e mails in a special book and this week we have just finished the most delicious box of biscuits we received from a customer who we made some brownie bears for. We were thrilled to hear how happy she was with the … Read more of this post
The teddy bear has featured as a mascot for many years in so many different guises. From good luck mascots during WW1 and WW2 to sport icons. Even cities have taken the bear as a symbol such as Berlin who depict a black bear on their coat of arms. No one really know how this came about but it has become feature of the town where keepsake bears and t shirts depicting the bear are popular tourist memorabilia.

Christmas Fairs have started! We are delighted to be returning to many schools and fairs from last year but we are also visiting new events with our keepsake bears in London and the South East! Last year we had one of our busiest months completing Christmas keepsake bears.
Our first event is a Christmas shopping event at Russell House School in Otford www.russellhouseschool.co.uk. This is an independent school for girls and boys, which has been celebrating their 75th anniversary! We have made a Russell House Blazer Bear to take pride of place and we think he looks very smart indeed! He looks even smarter with his blue scarf with red trim…picture to follow.
